Heide Dawn Wilbur – Unsolved Vermont Missing Person Case
Heide was last observed in Middletown Springs, Vermont, on February 9, 1991. At the time, she was under the care of Vermont’s Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services and resided in a foster home in Rutland City, Vermont.
During a weekend visit to her biological family in Middletown Springs, Heide was last seen at a family member’s residence. Authorities suspect she left voluntarily and may have hitchhiked out of the region.
There were unverified claims that she may have traveled to Florida following her disappearance. Her case remains unresolved.
